Hello!
Most of Ani Pema's books and both of Sakyong's books lack indices. This makes it harder to find all the places that a particular topic or term is mentioned by our teachers. Will you help us build an index for those books?
Creating an index will be a two step process:
- Re-read a book while noting unusual terms, proper names, and the key terms of each section of text. Note if a term is used in a particular way. Type up those terms and notes on a computer
- Email those terms and notes to me.
Then I'll alphabetize your terms, perform the textual searches through the books to include all places the term occurs, and add secondary information from your notes about unique usages of terms in specific sections.

Pick any of Pema's book (except No Time to Lose, that already has an index) or either of the Sakyong's book and let me know that you're working on it. You can either edit this page and list which book you're working on or send me a note using the contact page.
Once each index is complete, I'll include on this site so others can use it to search and reference it. A completed index will be useful for many years. Think of the merit for contributing one! A re-reading one of these amazing books in detail is a great study opportunity. Thank you for your help.
