Four immeasurables

Four immeasurables or the four immeasurable minds (Sanskrit: Brahma Viharas) are four contemplations or contemplative themes: loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. They are immeasurable because one is not limited in how much one can contemplate and accumulate each quality.
