Dzogchen is a Tibetan term for "great perfection" or "great completeness." This term encompasses the Vajrayana practices of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Shambhala teachings are informed by these teachings and practices, and within the Vajrayana path some dzogchen practices are now practiced in Shambhala.
