Adhiṣṭhāna
From LabelingThoughts
Adhiṣṭhāna is a Sanskrit term for lineage blessings. It is used primarily in a Vajrayana context to describe non-conceptual Dharma transmission, but the term is used in Shingon and Zen to refer to the power of the Buddha or the transmission of that power to the practitioner.
