Tibetan term
transcription: Ngejung

Ngejung is a Tibetan term for renunciation. Ngé means “actually” or “definitely,” and jung means to “come out,” “emerge” or “be born.” So the term implies a feeling of renunciation emerging from one's new awareness and insight and doing so definitely. One metaphor the Tibetans use for this is pulling a hair out of a stick of butter.
